Early Prattware “Obedia Cook” Flask, South Yorkshire, England, 1805
A superb Prattware flask with the name of the owner Obedia Cook proudly displayed on the front of his flask, along with the date 1805 (note misspelling of Obadiah, indicating the poor education of the potters and decorators in the early 19th century).
Decorated in the full Prattware palette of colours, a rare and wonderful thing.
6” H x 5” W x 2” D O/A approx.
In good condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use.
