Boldly and skilfully moulded, hand pressed in an off-white clay fabric with a lead glaze-over, dabbed and decorated in manganese oxide.
Characterful, with strong presence and a glittering glaze, finely crazed all over as to be expected with the age and materials used on this superb and striking piece.
